From South : A1 exit Val di Chiana

Continue towards Siena on the Siena Bettolle until the exit of Castelnuovo Berardenga. Once in Castelnuovo Berardenga follow directions to Pianella and before the end of the village of Castelnuovo Berardenga turn right into Strada di Orgiale and follow our road signs.

From North : A1 exit Firenze Impruneta

Continue towards Siena on Autopalio Florence - Siena. (4 lanes). Once in Siena, take the ring road towards Arezzo and take the Siena - Bettolle until the exit Castelnuovo Berardenga. Once in Castelnuovo Berardenga follow directions to Pianella and before the end of the village of Castelnuovo Berardenga turn right into Strada di Orgiale and then follow our road signs.

The „Chianti“ region is called the soul of Tuscany. You will find the Castello in the southeast angle of the Chianti region on the border to the wilderness of the „Crete“. Take a walk of 10 min from the Castello to reach the village „Castelnuovo Berardenga“.
Various shops for daily needs, a choice of typical restaurants, a small town place and a weekly farmers market offer some entertainment of the calmness of the Castello. Well known places can be reached in a reasonable driving distance, i.e. Siena (25 min), Florence (60 min), Rome (90 min). There are some possibilities to discover the fascinating cultural treasuries of Tuscany in comfortable day- trips.
If you prefer physical excercise, you will find golf courses ( 30-60 min driving distance), horse riding, hiking trails and the hot springs of „Rapolano Terme“ (15 min).
A day at the see side can be combined with the visit of the famous „tarot garden“ of Niki de Saint Phalle. Also the „Palio“, the well-known horse race in Siena can be an extraordinary attraction of your stay.
